With a refined focus on military veterans, Service Support Dogs’ primary mission is to breed, develop and place highly-trained service dogs with military, law enforcement or other perilous occupation experienced civil servants. We provide a means towards attaining a more normalized life, which includes a diminished need for medications, for the disabled, handicapped, and retired high risk occupation personnel.
Service Support Dogs provides dogs suited to service by using a combination of 'sweat equity' and generosity. The dogs are chosen according to their attributes, temperament and health.
Service Support Dogs trains the dogs for Special needs (diabetes, multiple events, PTSD, etc) as they train the handler (typically the Military Veteran) how to produce a needed behavior.

Service Support Dogs does accept speaking engagement requests and they attend events in order to Educate the public about Service Dogs.
Service Support Dogs' Training Coordinator is a Military Veteran, has a Master's Degree in Canine Behavior, has Bachelor's degrees in Criminal Law and Canine Behavior as well as he has over 30 years experience training Working Dogs.
